Hello there! Thank you for stopping by! This is my personal website, offering a glimpse into my journey through the realms of music and technology. I consider myself accomplished for blending my passion in these domains, resulting in the creation of exciting projects at their intersection!
I am a computer scientist, musician, teacher, arranger, composer, music producer, and entrepreneur. I work in the technology field with a focus on immersive and interactive media development, digital audio, and sound production. I have been a professor at PUCPR University since 2000, specializing in software production (games, VR and AR experiences), sound design, and soundtrack production for digital games. Since 1999, I have had a career in the musical field as a musician and producer. This experience laid the foundation for my venture into the realm of sound production for interactive media. The past decade has been exceptionally productive. Since 2014, I am the Audio Production Team Coordinator at the Apple Developer Academy (ADA) at PUCPR . At this time, my team developed the sound production of more than 200 apps duly published, and produced more than 600 musical tracks and more than 10,000 sound effects. In 2015, recognizing the exponential growth of opportunities in the field of digital games and other interactive media, I founded a center dedicated to training professionals in the field of sound production. Since then I have served as the General Manager of the Onloop Composition and Sound Research Center at PUCPR.
In 2023, PUCPR inaugurated the innovative Centro de Realidade Estendida (Extended Reality Center). It is the first center of its kind in a Brazilian university. PUCPR constructed a 3,000 m2 (32,292 ft2) area that includes Virtual Production Studio, Master Cave, 3D printing room, collaborative rooms, 8 themed rooms for classes using VR, and a Digital Arena. I am the Audio Production Coordinator (Manager) and also a XR DEV Team Leader, guiding a team responsible for creating immersive learning experiences and establishing the University’s presence in the Metaverse.
My artistic career spans over 25 years with approximately 2,500 shows in more than 300 cities, both in Brazil and internationally. I am a co-founder of the Curitiba-based big band, Soulution Orchestra, considered the most important band of its kind in Brazil. We have several CDs and DVDs recorded. In 2015, I produced the solo work by singer ZEE-R (Zé Rodrigo) – the DVD Live at Daryl’s House, recorded live in New York, USA. Since 2014, I have been actively involved in the musical direction of the Soulution Orchestra and the solo career of the artist Zee-R.

IMMERSIVE MEDIA
The Centro de Realidade Estendida (Extended Reality Center) was officially opened in june 2023. Immersive experiences and simulations include real-time medical interview simulators, virtual reality games, crime scene simulations, immersive documentaries, and 3D prototypes of animals. My team is responsible for different immersive and interactive media experiences such as: interactive tour inside a paper factory with the aim of learning about maintenance issues, product quality and workplace safety; learning experience within a virtual surgical center; etc. The same team developed a complete virtual tour of the center, which can be accessed here (Virtual Tour).

DIGITAL AUDIO
Onloop is a nucleus of PUCPR, responsible for sound production and research in the area of computing and music technology. Since 2015, it has been working in the production of sounds and musical tracks for the most diverse areas. TRÍTONOS is a producer of digital audio solutions. Created in 2014, in the first few months it developed more than 150 soundtracks for IOS applications, with the Apple Developer Academy (ADA) – as its main client – a partnership between Apple and PUCPR. By 2022, it had more than 600 produced music tracks and thousands of SFX. The group is specialized in producing sound effects and tracks for digital games and other applications.
MUSICAL PRODUCTION
Soulution Orchestra was born in 1999 with the aim of playing the greatest classics of American music. The band produced 4 CDs and a live DVD entitled Big Band Rock, recorded in 2008 at Curitiba Master Hall.
